Swim Lessons

The YMCA swim lesson program is centered on five main components: personal safety, personal growth, stroke development, water sports and games, and rescue. The emphasis is on progressive learning, using a student-centered and developmentally appropriate approach to teaching. Our goal is to help children build confidence and skills through positive reinforcement promoting life-long health and fitness.

Please note that classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Also authorization for makeup classes is the responsibility of the Aquatic Director and subject to availability and cause of cancelled class. There are NO MAKE UPS for programs cancelled due to weather.
