Lori Bowers Uhazie, the first Blue Sapphire of the Penn State Blue Band (1978-1982), presents her book “Nittany and Me” for our members.

This children’s is written in rhyme and features a dog named ‘Nittany’ who explores the Penn State campus, trying to participate in all the great university traditions. There will be interactive opportunities corresponding to each beautiful illustration. Count and do push-ups like the Nittany Lion mascot, march like the Blue Band calling out left and right, show your spirit with the WE ARE cheer, and much, much more!!!
