Deep water running is a non-impact form of running done in the water wearing a flotation belt. the water adds multidirectional resistance and an additional challenge to your workout.
- Class content includes imaginary cross country, interval training, timed sprint drills and upper body strengthening drills.
- Allows you to train and maintain fitness while recovering from injury.
- Class gives a good workout to people new to fitness and can offer a new level of challenge for experienced athletes.
- Using proper technique, deep water runners can burn up to 40% more calories than they would running on land.
